There are actually some big differences between regularly and naturally produced wines.
What does it mean for a wine to be natural? In a nutshell, it means that there are the least about of interferences and interventions in the production of the wine as possible.
Why does this matter? Making wine naturally makes for some very different and often quirky results. While we are used to talking about the fruity, peppery, or just food-related essences of wines, natural wines can have notes of leather, tobacco, and licorice.
